Our Viewing Rooms

With a Native American heritage, the owner of S. Evangelista Gallery offers a unique perspective to online fine art galleries. Discover our two unique viewing rooms. The War Room, “Where the Chiefs meet,” highlights the work of experienced artists; the Growing Fawn Room, “Where the Braves meet,” gives an opportunity for up-and-coming artists to showcase their latest work.

the trading Post
(online art boutique)

Why do we call our online shop a “trading post?”

As like many of you, the owner’s family tree shows that the first of our ancestors to settle in the States were persistent individuals.

Mr. Barse, of French descent, settled in the Mid-West and opened one of the very first pioneer epoch “trading-posts”. SEGi’s owner chooses to honor their prairie roots and invites you to visit our modern version of their family tradition as boutique holders.

(We don’t sell furs or food like our ancestors did, but you are sure to find something to meet your fancy in our shop.)

About Our Gallery

What sets us apart from other online fine-art galleries?

First off, we are artist-owned! We know and understand the business and all of the aspects of fine-arts from a dual perspective.

Secondly, we maintain relationships as colleagues with our featured artists. We are on the same wave-length as them and look out for their needs.

Also, we have Mid-Western values and work-ethic.  The Gallery owner and all of our selected artist are determined, and hard-working, talented individuals.
